Geography Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a successful Humanities department. This is an exciting opportunity to share your passion for Geography and help students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Geography Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 Geography (KS5 if applicable).
Inspire students to explore human and physical geography, environmental issues, and global interconnections.
Monitor and assess progress, providing clear feedback to support pupil achievement.
Create a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities, such as field trips and projects.
Maintain high expectations for student progress, behaviour, and engagement.
Ideal Geography Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in Geography, with the ability to teach confidently at KS3 and KS4.
Experience of delivering GCSE Geography (and A-Level, if relevant).
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills as a Geography Teacher.
A commitment to professional growth and collaborative working.
