​Step Teachers are working with an academy based close to Wood Green to source a Geography Teacher to start from September 2022. This post is full-time and will require this exceptional teacher to cover KS3, KS4 and KS5.

This school is a “good” Ofsted-rated school in Wood Green and has been praised for the high aspirations the head teacher has for the school and the student within. The school have been prised for students making very good progress across a range of subjects. The school has been referred as a harmonious and diverse learning environment.

The Role

  • Strong Geography curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4

  • Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

  • Ability to assess and report on your students when required

  • Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements

  • Hold QTS or the equivalent of

  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Geography

  • Relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
