Geography Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role from February 2026

Duties as Geography Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across relevant year groups
  • Support pupils in developing geographical knowledge, skills, and curiosity
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote positive routines
  • Assess learning within lessons and provide clear feedback
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs
  • Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative working
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal Geography Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Geography
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach clearly and confidently
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to differentiate teaching for mixed‑ability groups
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A reflective, proactive approach to supporting pupil progress
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil well-being
