Health and Social Care Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a committed and versatile Health and Social Care Teacher to join a supportive secondary school or college setting on a temporary, ongoing basis starting in October 2025.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across BTEC National Health and Social Care (Level 3) and may also be required to teach subjects outside of their main specialism when needed.
Duties as Health and Social Care Teacher:
Plan and deliver lessons for BTEC National Health and Social Care Level 3 in line with the course specification.
Support students in developing both theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of the subject.
Accurately assess, record, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Deliver high-quality lessons in related subjects as required.
Contribute to departmental planning, moderation, and curriculum development.
Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom management.
Ideal Health and Social Care Teacher:
Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent).
Have experience teaching Health and Social Care at Level 3, ideally within the BTEC framework.
Be flexible and willing to teach across different curriculum areas as required.
Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills as a Health and Social Care Teacher.
Inspire students through engaging, inclusive, and well-structured lessons.
