Step Teachers are working with an Ofsted-rated “Good” school located in the heart of Ilford to source a History Teacher. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated History Teacher for a maternity cover position spanning Key Stages 3 to 5. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire and engage students in the fascinating world of history, from ancient civilizations to modern-day events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality history lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students across Key Stages 3 to 5.
• Creating engaging and interactive learning experiences that stimulate critical thinking and historical inquiry.
• Differentiating instruction to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities.
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in History, with the ability to teach across Key Stages 3 to 5.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for inspiring curiosity and enthusiasm for history in young learners.
