We are seeking a versatile and motivated Humanities teacher to join a team on a long-term supply basis. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on maintaining continuity and student progress during a period of staff absence. Starting September 2025.

Duties as a Humanities Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons following existing schemes of work

• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners

• Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records

• Maintain high standards of classroom management and discipline

• Work closely with the Humanities department and wider school team

Ideal Humanities Teacher:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

• Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level

• Strong classroom presence and communication skills as a Humanities Teacher.

• Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to a new environment

• A commitment to upholding the values and expectations of the school
