ICT Teacher
Job description
Are you passionate about technology and eager to equip young people with the digital skills they need for the future? A forward-thinking secondary school is seeking an enthusiastic ICT Teacher to join their Computing department and inspire students to become confident, capable users and creators of technology. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as ICT Teacher:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum and relevant exam specifications.
Set, mark and assess classwork, homework, and assessments, providing constructive feedback to support student progress.
Inspire learners through practical projects such as coding, web design, and multimedia production.
Monitor and track pupil attainment, maintaining accurate records and reporting to parents and senior leaders.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the ICT and Computing curriculum and integrate technology across the school.
Support extracurricular activities such as coding clubs, robotics, or digital competitions.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and whole-school events.
Ideal ICT Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in ICT and related technologies.
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities to develop their digital skills.
Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills as an ICT Teacher.
