KS1/2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting April 2026

Duties as KS1/2 Teacher:

  • Teach KS1/2 classes full time and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons
  • Contribute fully to planning, staff meetings, and writing pupil reports
  • Make adaptations to planning where appropriate while statutory PPA is provided
  • Support pupils in developing literacy, numeracy, and wider subject knowledge
  • Maintain consistent routines and promote positive behaviour
  • Differentiate teaching to support a range of learning needs, including SEN
  • Assess progress and provide clear constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards
  • Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil well‑being

Ideal KS1/2 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience and a strong track record of high‑quality KS1 and KS2 teaching
  • Confident supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Strong organisational and communication abilities
  • Reflective, proactive, and committed to high‑quality teaching
  • Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
