KS1/2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting April 2026

Duties as KS1/2 Teacher:

Teach KS1/2 classes full time and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons
Contribute fully to planning, staff meetings, and writing pupil reports
Make adaptations to planning where appropriate while statutory PPA is provided
Support pupils in developing literacy, numeracy, and wider subject knowledge
Maintain consistent routines and promote positive behaviour
Differentiate teaching to support a range of learning needs, including SEN
Assess progress and provide clear constructive feedback
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards
Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil well‑being

Ideal KS1/2 Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience and a strong track record of high‑quality KS1 and KS2 teaching
Confident supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
Strong organisational and communication abilities
Reflective, proactive, and committed to high‑quality teaching
Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
