KS2 Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school team and help pupils in Years 3–6 achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire young learners and create a positive classroom environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as KS2 Teacher:
Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
Differentiate activities to support all abilities, ensuring progress for every child.
Foster a stimulating, inclusive classroom that encourages curiosity and independence.
Monitor pupil development and maintain accurate records of attainment and progress.
Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
Contribute to wider school life, including clubs, trips and special events.
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2.
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills as a KS2 Teacher.
Valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
