KS2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term maternity cover from as soon as possible until the end of the academic year

Duties as KS2 Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
- Support pupils in developing core literacy, numeracy, and wider subject skills
- Maintain a calm, well‑organised classroom and positive behaviour routines
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues as part of a supportive teaching team
- Contribute to planning, assessment, and wider school responsibilities
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS2
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners of mixed abilities
- Good organisational and communication abilities
- Reflective, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
