KS2 Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school on a permanent basis as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across Key Stage 2 and contribute to their academic and personal development. 

Duties as KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities across Years 3–6.

• Provide small group and one-to-one support to help pupils meet learning objectives.

• Assist in planning, preparing and setting up resources for lessons and interventions.

• Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.

• Support pupils’ social, emotional and personal development.

Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) qualification.

• Previous experience supporting children in KS2 is highly desirable.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.

• Current Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
