Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a school team and help support pupils’ learning and development. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a positive impact in the classroom and supporting students to reach their full potential. Starting October 2025.

Duties as Learning Support Assistant:

• Assisting teachers in the classroom to support pupils’ learning

• Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils who need extra help

• Helping prepare and adapt resources to meet individual learning needs

• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development

• Encouraging independence and confidence in learning

• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teachers

Ideal Learning Support Assistant:

• Have experience working with children in an educational setting

• Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable

• Hold a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or Learning Support qualification (or equivalent) – desirable but not essential

• Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills as a Learning Support Assistant.

• Have a genuine passion for supporting all learners
