Level 3 Teaching Assistant

A welcoming primary school in Watford is seeking a committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

Duties as Level 3 Teaching Assistant:

• Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences across EYFS/KS1/KS2.

• Provide targeted small-group or 1:1 support, including interventions for pupils with additional needs.

• Assist in assessing pupil progress and contribute to planning and record keeping.

• Help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment and promote good behaviour.

• Lead whole-class sessions or cover lessons when required.

Ideal Level 3 Teaching Assistant:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and relevant school-based experience.

• Strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills as  Level 3 Teaching Assistant.

• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.

• A proactive, flexible approach and a passion for helping children succeed.
