LSA Support

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a school team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils’ learning and development, helping them to thrive both academically and socially. Beginning October 2025.

Duties as an LSA:

• Supporting pupils in the classroom, working 1:1 and in small groups

• Assisting teachers in preparing and adapting resources to meet pupils’ needs

• Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND, to access the curriculum

• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

• Providing feedback to teachers on pupil progress and development

Ideal LSA:

• Have experience working with children in a school or educational setting

• Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable in their approach

• Hold a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or Learning Support qualification (desirable but not essential)

• Be proactive and confident working as part of a team as an LSA

• Be passionate about supporting all learners to reach their potential
