Maths Teacher

Job Title: Curriculum Leader - Mathematics Role 
Location: Hammersmith and Fulham
Type: Full-time, Temp to Permanent (For the right candidate)
About Us: Step Teachers are working with a dynamic school that is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences. The school are currently seeking an innovative, experienced, and dedicated individual to join the team as the Curriculum Leader for Mathematics.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement an innovative and engaging mathematics curriculum in alignment with educational standards.
• Lead a team of experienced practitioners to ensure the effective delivery of the mathematics curriculum.
• Collaborate with teachers to enhance instructional strategies and methodologies.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing support and intervention as needed.
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in mathematics education.
• Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment for both students and staff.
• Manage resources effectively to support the implementation of the mathematics curriculum.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in Secondary School
• Extensive experience in curriculum development and leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the STEM curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
