A school in Hertford is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maths Teacher to join a successful Mathematics department for one academic term. This fixed-term role is ideal for a committed professional who can hit the ground running and maintain high standards of teaching and learning. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as Maths Teacher:

• Teach Mathematics to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

• Provide marking, feedback, and support to ensure pupil progress.

• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and engagement in the classroom.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning.

Ideal Maths Teacher:

• A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with experience teaching Maths in a secondary school.

• A confident classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge as a Maths Teacher.

• Someone who can build positive relationships with students quickly and effectively.

• A team player who brings energy, professionalism, and flexibility to the role.
