Job description

Music Teacher – Daily supply across Barnet and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible

Duties as Music Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive music lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Inspire students through practical and theoretical music education
  • Support students in developing performance, composition and listening skills
  • Prepare resources and adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
  • Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and contribute to school life

Ideal Music Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Music at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge in music theory and performance
  • Ability to lead practical sessions and manage classroom instruments
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills as a Music Teacher
  • Passion for music education and pupil development
