Step Teachers are looking for qualified nursery assistants to work in Plymouth. The nursery we are recruiting for is based in Central Plymouth. The work is booked on an ad hoc basis, one week in advance, but does have a very high likelihood to be long term work for the right candidate.

To be eligible for this, you should have the following attributes:

• You should have a teaching assistant qualification
• A grade C or above in both Maths and English.
• Experience of working with children with challenging behaviour 
• You will ideally have worked in an alternate provision before.
• Experience in baby rooms and with toddlers

This is a vibrant nursery with a homely environment where children can feel comfortable as they learn and progress in their own unique way. Imperative skills and lessons are provided through a variety of themed activities, which make learning exciting and accessible to the children. A unique and creative experience is provided by each member of staff, and they are all dedicated to the safety and well-being of each child in their care.
