Nursery Teaching Assistant

Are you caring, energetic and passionate about supporting young children in their early years? We are looking for a nurturing and reliable Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a friendly team at a warm and welcoming Nursery.

Duties as a Nursery Teaching Assistant:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Help to create a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment for all children

• Support individual children and small groups with learning and development

• Assist with personal care routines when needed (e.g. toileting, changing)

• Promote positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

• Help monitor children’s progress and contribute to observations and assessments

Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:

• Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or above preferred)

• Has experience working in a nursery, pre-school or EYFS classroom setting

• Has a caring, patient and positive approach as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.

• Understands the EYFS framework and child development

• Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with adults and children

• Is committed to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of every child
