PE and Maths Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role from February 2026
This setting provides a positive and supportive environment where pupils benefit from committed staff, strong routines, and a curriculum designed to help them achieve well. Teaching is purposeful, behaviour is managed effectively, and leaders work collaboratively with staff to ensure pupils feel safe, valued, and motivated in their learning.
Duties as PE and Maths Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE and Maths lessons across relevant year groups
- Use pre-prepared materials where required to support lesson delivery
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote positive routines
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs
- Support pupils with both practical and academic progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a consistent approach across departments
- Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal PE and Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching PE and Maths
- Strong subject knowledge in both curriculum areas
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire pupils
- Good organisational and communication skills
- A proactive approach to supporting pupil development
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
