These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You’ll be supporting schools in Paignton and the surrounding areas, teaching Physical Education across Key Stages.
Duties as PE Teacher:
- Deliver engaging PE lessons across the curriculum following provided plans
- Organise and supervise practical sports activities and ensure safety standards are met
- Promote health, fitness, and teamwork through structured lessons
- Assess and record pupil progress where required
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Contribute to extracurricular sports programmes and school events
Ideal PE Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education and sports coaching
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
- Adaptable and confident working across different schools and year groups
