Job description

​As part of our ongoing relationship with Supply Clouds and the Crown Commercial services, we are recruiting qualified supply teachers who specialise in all subjects to cover a range of long-term, short-term and day-to-day vacancies we have in Spalding, ideally in Secondary schools.

It takes a special kind of teacher to be a supply teacher,   You may find yourself in a different school every day, teaching a different set of pupils. Supply teachers can be another uncertainty for children and you will need all your skills to build relationships quickly and make a difference

Our ideal candidate will have the below attributes;

  • As a qualified teacher, you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven ability to understand and utilise current theory and practice in relation to learning and development. 

  • You should have a teaching qualification  

  • An ability to organise, lead and manage a classroom effectively, including assigned support staff will be central to your role. 

  • Establish good relationships, encourage good working practices, and support and lead teachers in the phase group.

Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer, and eligibility to work in the UK.
