Secondary Supply Teachers – Flexible short-term and long-term roles available across Somerset and surrounding areas
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You will work in a range of secondary schools, covering various subjects and supporting pupils’ learning in dynamic environments.
Duties as Secondary Supply Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons across different subjects following the school’s curriculum and policies
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Mark work and provide feedback where required
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress
- Uphold safeguarding standards and promote the welfare of pupils
Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in secondary schools across KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to adapt quickly
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Flexibility to work across different schools and subjects
