We are seeking an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a team on a long-term, temporary, and ongoing basis, starting as soon as possible.

Duties as an SEMH Teaching Assistant:

• Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEMH needs

• Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning and behaviour support plans

• Encouraging positive engagement and emotional regulation

• Supporting the class teacher in managing behaviour and maintaining a safe learning environment

• Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to promote confidence and progress

Ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience working with SEMH pupils (essential)

• A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills as an SEMH Teaching Assistant.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
