Job description
We are seeking an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a team on a long-term, temporary, and ongoing basis, starting as soon as possible.

Duties as an SEMH Teaching Assistant:
Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning and behaviour support plans
Encouraging positive engagement and emotional regulation
Supporting the class teacher in managing behaviour and maintaining a safe learning environment
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to promote confidence and progress
Ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant:
Previous experience working with SEMH pupils (essential)
A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
Strong behaviour management and communication skills as an SEMH Teaching Assistant.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
