Job description

Step Teachers currently have an opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant based at an Ofsted rated school upholding ‘Good’ status in Hackney. This is a long-term supply position working alongside a SEN Child with autism and challenging behaviour. The role is set to commence in September 2019.

The School has asked for a proficient TA that has the following attributes:

  • A CACHE Level 2 qualification or higher
  • Experience in a mainstream school ideally in KS2
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Proven ability to successfully manage learning development projects
  • Keep a calm and positive demeanour when facing challenging behaviour
