Job description
This school is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Teacher to join an inclusive and nurturing learning community. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with a range of additional needs and help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Starting September 2025.
Duties as a SEND Teacher:
Plan and deliver personalised, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets
Create a positive, safe, and structured learning environment for pupils with diverse needs
Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
Monitor and assess progress, maintaining detailed records and contributing to review meetings
Foster confidence, independence, and a love for learning in every child
Ideal SEND Teacher:
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent), ideally with experience in SEN settings
Knowledge of a range of additional needs (e.g. ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, ADHD, speech and language)
A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach to teaching as a SEND Teacher.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to collaboration
A passion for inclusion and helping all pupils reach their full potential
