SEND Teacher

This school is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Teacher to join an inclusive and nurturing learning community. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with a range of additional needs and help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Starting September 2025.

Duties as a SEND Teacher:

• Plan and deliver personalised, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets

• Create a positive, safe, and structured learning environment for pupils with diverse needs

• Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals

• Monitor and assess progress, maintaining detailed records and contributing to review meetings

• Foster confidence, independence, and a love for learning in every child

Ideal SEND Teacher:

• A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent), ideally with experience in SEN settings

• Knowledge of a range of additional needs (e.g. ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, ADHD, speech and language)

• A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach to teaching as a SEND Teacher.

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to collaboration

• A passion for inclusion and helping all pupils reach their full potential
