SEND Teacher

We are looking to appoint a compassionate, skilled and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join a dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with a range of special educational needs. Starting September 2025.

Duties as SEND Teacher:

• Plan and deliver personalised, inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning needs

• Create a supportive and structured environment that enables pupils to thrive academically, socially and emotionally

• Use a variety of assessment methods to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external agencies

• Contribute to the development and review of EHCPs, behaviour plans and individual targets

• Promote independence, confidence and resilience in all pupils

Ideal SEND Teacher:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have experience working with children with a range of SEND (e.g. ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD)

• Be confident in using differentiated teaching strategies and specialist resources

• Demonstrate excellent communication, classroom management and teamworking skills as a SEND Teacher.

• Be reflective, patient, and passionate about inclusive education
