Job description
SEND Teacher – Supply roles available starting as soon as possible
We are seeking passionate SEND Teachers for flexible supply opportunities across primary schools in Manchester and surrounding areas. These roles are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact in inclusive learning environments. Immediate starts available.
Duties as SEND Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND
- Support pupils’ academic, emotional and social development
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
- Collaborate with support staff and SENCOs to ensure effective provision
- Promote positive behaviour and communication
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and contribute to a safe learning environment
Ideal SEND Teacher:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND in primary settings
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices
- Patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
