Job description
Step Teachers are looking for dedicated Special Needs Specialists for daily supply roles around Northolt, starting in November 2025.
Duties as a Special Needs Specialist:
Supporting pupils with a range of additional and complex learning needs
Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions
Working closely with class teachers and support staff to promote inclusion and engagement
Providing emotional and behavioural support to help pupils reach their full potential
Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and support provided
Ideal Special Needs Specialist:
Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEND) is essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Special Needs Specialist
A caring, patient and flexible approach to working with diverse needs
- Relevant qualifications in Education
