Job description

We are seeking to appoint a hard-working and highly organised individual to undertake the important role of Teacher of Sociology and Politics up to A Level. The role will initially start on a short term contract with the option to move to a permanent offer at a later date.

The school is a large, popular school which takes students from the full ability range. The school is a Leading Edge school and a Training School, and acquired specialist status in the arts in September 2006.

  • You should have a teaching qualification, ideally holding QTS.
  • The appointed teacher should motivate, enthuse, excite, and challenge students to produce the highest quality work.
  • Have experience delivering the subject to a mainstream school setting.
