Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Southgate, London

Start date: 7 June 2024

Step Teachers are working alongside a primary school seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a passion and desire to instil that passion 1-1 with a Year 2 ADHD boy.

Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

As a 1-1 Teaching Assistant, assisting a Year 2 ADHD boy, you will provide one-on-one Support; offer personalized help to the student as he requires additional assistance. As a Teaching Assistant you will assist with administrative tasks; inspire curiosity and foster a love for education by encouraging questions and exploration in the young boys mind. The Teaching Assistant must have experience and must be able to participate in all aspects of learning.

Requirements of a Teaching Assistant:

  • A degree

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A passion for teaching and a desire to share that passion with students

  • Prior experience in a school or educational setting is a plus.
