We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work within the SEN and Nurture Rooms on a long-term, temporary, ongoing basis, starting as soon as possible.

Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

• Provide support to students with additional needs in a nurturing and structured environment

• Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour within the Nurture Room

• Use effective behaviour management techniques to maintain a calm and focused setting

• Assist with the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions

• Build positive, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and confidence

• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to support individual development plans

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children with SEN or social, emotional, and behavioural needs

• Strong behaviour management skills as a Teaching Assistant.

• A caring, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting children

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
