Job description
Our East Anglia team are currently supporting an academy that is seeking a year 2 class teacher to work with them on a long term supply basis. This vacancy will commence on the 8th March and is on-going. There is a very high possibility that this role could become permanent for the right candidate who hits the ground running and forges relationships with the year 2 students who will need extra support after being out of the classroom for a long time. This is a supportive academy that wants to help every child succeed and learn in a fun and safe environment.
This role is offered on a full-time basis from when the schools return to teaching in the classroom until the end of the academic year. There may also be scope to work part-time, on a 0.5-day basis, 5 days a week.
The ideal Year 2 class Teacher:
- You will hold a teaching qualification and have recent experience teaching a reception class in a mainstream school.
- The school are happy to consider NQT's but suggest that this role might be better suited for candidates who are more experienced
- At the heart of everything you do will be your passion for your subject and the desire to inspire and motivate pupils to excel
- As an experienced Primary Teacher, you will have the ability to develop, foster and sustain high-quality relationships with children and adults
