Job description

Step Teachers are working with a 'GOOD' Ofsted rated school to search for a Year 3 class teacher to support the school on a long term supply basis starting in January 2024. This school's vision is to create a community that includes everyone those with a faith community or without. Their six core values for the year change according to the term so they have a clear focus on each one in each term. The school is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher who will readily engage with the school’s inclusive, organised, and friendly educational atmosphere.

Role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the Year 3 curriculum
  • Effectively manage and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Foster a love of learning and curiosity among students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a supportive and cohesive teaching team
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a conducive learning atmosphere

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching Year 3 curriculum
  • Exceptional behaviour management skills
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
