Year 3/4 Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary cover from January 2026

This part-time Year 3/4 Teacher role begins in January 2026 and offers ongoing long-term cover in a welcoming and inclusive primary school. The school is committed to providing a nurturing environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn. Leaders are ambitious and have high expectations for all pupils, ensuring that teaching is well-structured and engaging. Staff work collaboratively to support pupils’ academic and personal development, and behaviour across the school is calm and respectful.

Duties as Year 3/4 Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support
Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to support learning
Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Contribute to the wider school community and attend relevant meetings

Ideal Year 3/4 Teacher:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in mixed-age classes
Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills as a Year 3/4 Teacher
Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
