Year 5 Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled classroom practitioner who is passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Year 5 Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
Inspire and motivate pupils to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN or EAL.
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress.
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, clubs, and events.
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 5.
Ability to engage, challenge, and support pupils of varying abilities.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a Year 5 Teacher.
A collaborative, reflective, and enthusiastic approach.
