Year 5 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role until July 2026 starting February 2026

Duties as Year 5 Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 5 curriculum
- Support pupils in developing strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Maintain consistent routines and contribute to a positive classroom climate
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
- Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to support shared planning and best practice
- Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 2
- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire a wide range of learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reflective, proactive approach to teaching and learning
- Commitment to supporting academic and emotional development
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well-being
