A fantastic primary school in Stevenage is currently recruiting for a primary teacher – year 6 from March. The position of primary teacher is a temporary post which would be suited to qualified teachers of Key Stage 2 who can demonstrate recent experience with a year 6 class. As a Year 6 primary teacher your role will entail the following;

  • To contribute to and actively support the overall ethos/work/aims of the School.
  • To comply with, support and promote all school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to child protection, equal opportunities, racial equality, health, safety and security, confidentiality, behaviour and data protection.
  • You should have a creative and thoughtful approach to curriculum planning, demonstrating the ability to incorporate national trends and data sets into your approach.
  • At the heart of everything you do will be your passion for your subject and the desire to inspire and motivate pupils to excel.
