Year 8 SEND Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and committed Year 8 SEND Teacher to join a caring and inclusive school community. This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners with a range of additional needs and help them achieve their full potential. Beginning June 2025.

Duties as Year 8 SEND Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons that support academic and personal development.

• Create a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic progress.

• Monitor and assess pupil progress, keeping clear records and reporting in line with EHCPs.

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through consistent routines and supportive strategies.

Ideal Year 8 SEND Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience working with SEND learners, preferably in Key Stage 3.

• A flexible, nurturing approach with strong classroom management skills as a Year 8 SEND Teacher

• An understanding of how to adapt teaching for pupils with diverse needs.

• A committed professional who is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young people.
