We have a primary school in Waltham Cross looking for a strong YR1 teacher to start in January 2020 on a full-time permanent basis. The successful applicant will be an experienced YR1 teacher who can demonstrate previous experience of working with YR1 pupils.

To be considered for the role of YR1 teacher you must:

• Have at least one years teaching experience
• Have a teaching qualification suitable for primary education
• Be able to demonstrate experience of teaching and planning in all subjects in the primary curriculum

The successful candidate should also have a thoughtful and creative approach to curriculum planning but at the heart of everything you do must be your passion and desire to inspire and motivate your pupils to excel.

The school is currently undergoing a period of transition with a new headteacher recently employed to move the school forward from its current Ofsted rating of “requires improvement”. You will need to show examples of your work that shows your commitment to providing work to enable pupils to reach higher levels of attainment.
