Art and Design Teacher – Daily and long-term roles available across Islington and surrounding areas

Duties as Art and Design Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Support pupils in developing artistic techniques and confidence
  • Prepare resources and manage classroom displays
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and school policies

Ideal Art and Design Teacher:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Art and Design in secondary schools
  • Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic disciplines
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills as an Art and Design Teacher
  • Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
  • Committed to pupil progress and well-being
