Biology Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to join a secondary school science department. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and foster a love of biology and the natural sciences. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Biology Teacher:
Teach Biology across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5.
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that spark curiosity and develop scientific skills.
Support students in developing analytical, practical, and problem-solving abilities.
Prepare students for examinations, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Contribute to the wider science faculty and take part in extracurricular opportunities such as STEM clubs, fieldwork, or trips.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department.
Ideal Biology Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, with a passion for teaching.
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
Excellent classroom management, organisation, and communication skills as a Biology Teacher.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
