Maths Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Maths Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire young learners and help them develop confidence and enjoyment in mathematics. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as Maths Teacher:
Teach engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS1 and/or KS2.
Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Use creative approaches to make Maths accessible, enjoyable, and relevant.
Support pupils in developing problem-solving, reasoning, and numeracy skills.
Monitor and track progress, providing targeted support where needed.
Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities.
Ideal Maths Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in Maths and the ability to make learning engaging.
Experience teaching in primary schools (KS1 and/or KS2).
Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills as a Maths Teacher.
A commitment to inclusive teaching and supporting all learners.
Dedication to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
