Business Studies and Computer Science Teacher – Full-time, maternity cover from February 2026 until October 2026

This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Studies and Computer Science Teacher to join a school that promotes high standards of teaching and learning. Duties as Business Studies and Computer Science Teacher:

Deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies and Computer Science across Key Stages
Prepare pupils for assessments and examinations, ensuring progress and achievement
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
Create a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and confidence
Maintain high standards of behaviour and implement effective classroom management strategies
Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required

Ideal Business Studies and Computer Science Teacher:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and Computer Science
Previous experience teaching these subjects in secondary settings
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
