Chemistry Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to join a committed science faculty. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is enthusiastic about their subject and eager to inspire and challenge students at secondary level. Beginning June 2025.
Duties as Chemistry Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)
Use a range of teaching strategies to promote progress and high achievement
Assess and track student attainment, providing feedback to support improvement
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love of science
Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment opportunities, and departmental development
Ideal Chemistry Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Chemistry or a related subject
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Chemistry Teacher.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
