Computer Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to provide short-term cover within a well-resourced and supportive secondary school. This is a great opportunity to maintain continuity for students and deliver engaging, practical lessons in computing and digital literacy. Beginning Septeber 2025.
Duties as Computer Teacher:
Teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons that promote problem-solving and digital skills
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed
Support students with a range of abilities and learning needs
Maintain a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
Ideal Computer Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Computer Science or ICT at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge, particularly in programming, digital systems, and cyber safety
Good classroom management and communication skills as a Computer Teacher.
A flexible and collaborative approach to teaching in a short-term role
