Cover Supervisor

We are looking for reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to join a team and support a variety of secondary schools. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people who wants flexible work and valuable classroom experience. Beginning ASAP.

Duties as Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils stay focused on pre-set work.

• Maintain a calm, positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour according to school policy.

• Provide brief feedback to teaching staff about lesson progress and pupil engagement.

• Assist with registration and other school duties as required.

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Previous experience with young people (school, youth work, tutoring or similar) is desirable.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills as Cover Supervisor.

• Ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups.

• A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
