Maths Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school and inspire students to develop strong mathematical skills and confidence. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as a Maths Teacher:
Teach Mathematics across KS3
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that challenge and motivate learners
Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations
Track and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted intervention
Contribute to curriculum development, enrichment activities, and departmental planning
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and uphold school safeguarding policies
Ideal Maths Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent
Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Mathematics
Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Maths Teacher.
Ability to inspire confidence and foster a positive learning environment
Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working
