Drama Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to inspire and engage pupils across the school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about drama and the performing arts to help students develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as a Drama Teacher:
Planning and delivering engaging drama lessons across key stages
Encouraging pupils to explore acting, improvisation, and stagecraft
Organising and supporting school productions, performances, and workshops
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
Promoting a positive and inclusive environment for all learners
Collaborating with colleagues to integrate drama into cross-curricular learning
Ideal Drama Teacher:
Hold a relevant teaching qualification (QTS) or equivalent experience in drama education
Have experience teaching drama to children or young people
Be passionate about performance and able to inspire creativity
Have excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Drama Teacher.
Be adaptable, proactive, and committed to developing pupils’ confidence and skills
