We are seeking a passionate and skilled English Teacher to join a committed and creative English department. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape confident communicators, critical thinkers, and lifelong readers. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as an English Teacher:

• Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).

• Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that promote progress and curiosity.

• Support all students to develop strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills.

• Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment, such as reading clubs or school productions.

• Use data to inform teaching and support student achievement.

Ideal English Teacher:

• A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with a specialism in English.

• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for literature and language.

• A reflective, dedicated practitioner with high expectations of all learners.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills as an English Teacher.

• A team player who contributes to the wider life of the school.
